Stephanie & Damian from Germany - Wedding, Las Vegas Style

So, the plan was to meet this sweet couple from Germany at the Commissioner of Civil Marriages located at 309 S. 3rd St. in downtown Las Vegas, NV. I'm waiting for a guy in a tux and a girl in a white dress. Around the corner comes this couple in a totally cute designer, black & white dress with a plash of lime green and my guy in a jeans and a plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a great hat! How cool is that?! Yeah, I just knew they were going to be a lot of fun to shoot.

Anyway, did the short & sweet civil service. (I got to be their witness) :) We then headed to the Bellagio, my all-time favorite casino/resort to wedding couple shoot at. Did a bunch of shots all over there and then headed to my favorite "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. It was a blast! As you can tell from the pictures! You can also tell how much they love each other and really are truly happy together. It's always nice to see. :)
Had to share their pictures! We plan to visit Germany in 2010 and they offered to be our tour guides for Old Germany, so we can't wait. Have the passports ready to go. (Well, actually, still need to get them for the kids.)
Congrats! Stephanie & Damian! Glad we met! You both are amazing people! Can't wait to see you again in a couple of years!

Nick & Julie Wedding - Austin Powers Married Them!

Finally had a chance to upload Nick & Julie's wedding to my blog. I'm voting this event as my most fun wedding of the year! First of all, they told friends and family (yes, even their parents) that they were having a house warming/engagement/costume party. They had just signed for their house days before the party. My couple came dressed as a hoola girl and a pirate. they then changed into a black tux and black dress to throw off the guests. Then at last minute, we rushed upstairs and got the bride changed into her wedding gown. Only the maid of honor, me and the videographer knew what was about to happen. So, who else could they hire to marry them, but Austin Powers, Baby!! OMG, he was awesome! No one suspected since it was a costume party anyway. You can imagine how surprised the best man was when they told him he was going to "be the best man"! It was priceless! Even during the ceremony people were thinking it was all fake! If anyone wants a really fun wedding in Las Vegas, I would definitely hire Austin Powers (I guess he does Elvis too) Anyway, everyone did the conga around the pool after the ceremony. Lead by Austin Powers to the Austin Powers theme, of course. It was great! The all black & white house didn't have any furniture yet, which made it perfect for a wedding party.

All and all, MOST FUN backyard WEDDING in Las Vegas I have had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for. So glad I got to be a part of it all!
Thanks guys..and congrats!!

Kristen's Senior Photo Shoot at Las Vegas' Neon Graveyard

Lucky me to have such a gorgeous high school senior to shoot at the Neon Museum and Graveyard near the downtown area in Las Vegas. I took a gazillion pics of her, but thought I would share a few of my favorites.

We got together and designed her High School graduation announcement too. Man, they turned out awesome! I must say, we really blew away Jostens invites. The black and white one is her cover and the other one is printed inside one of top flap.

Lordez 5th Birthday Tea Party

This was such a big event, even Cinderella showed up :) I set up a backdrop and took all the little pricesess's portraits and added a little special touch for their thank you cards. I just had to share Lordez's picture and a f ew of her princess friends.

Agassi Boy's 9th Grade Basketball Team

Thought I'd share a another team photo from Agassi Prep. They really have some great athletes over there. Lucky me to be their sport's photographer. :) I'm making the background kinda my trademark for my team shots. I think it's pretty cool. (Too bad the whole team couldn't make the shoot. Maybe next year!)

I really need to take a picture of their trophy case. It's starting to fill up!

The Witzel Family 2008

I've always wanted a museum wrapped canvas print. Canvas on Demand offer me a great price on my first order. I knew if had to be something special, so I had to have it made of our family! Of course! So, I just ordered it. It'll be a great selling point when I have clients over to check it out. I'm sure it going to be beautiful!

So I thought I would share our family picture with you all :) I'm so glad of dog Roy is in it too! He really is our favorite family member!

(BTW, my sister took the picture when she came to visit! It was either that or set the timer & run! HA)

Myron Heaton Chorale & The Glenn Miller Orchestra

Over at the Texas Station on Rancho, the Myron Heaton Chorale enjoyed a night of entertainment with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. The Nellis Men's Quartet opened the ceremonies. It was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed an evening dancing, food & auctions.

Ashely & Hing - Ritz-Carlton, Lake of Las Vegas

Ashley and Hing were married at the Ritz-Carlton at the Lake of Las Vegas. (For the record, none of the pictures have been touched yet, but I thought they turned out pretty amazing that I couldn't wait to share. Wait until I have fun turning some of them into art :) Well at first, we thought we might have to move the wedding ceremony inside because of stormy conditions, but the winds calmed down just in perfect time for the wedding. Lucky me, I got the most perfect clouds for their wedding so I was happy. :) And lucky me again I get a drop dead gorgeous bride and adorable, which I called my "lemon meringue" girls, bridesmaids. Everything was perfect! From the white sandy beach to a perfect cove for the beautiful ceremony. She's an awesome dancer, so lucky me again, got some great poses from her. We left afterwards to the Mirage for a great reception...... and basically, they all lived happily ever after :)
